About Us

Our Story

Do you remember when your school teachers would highly recommend that you utilise practice questions to really solidify the content you have learnt? We thought, why not apply this concept to the memorisation of the Qur’an?

Al-itqan was set up by a medical student and secondary school teacher, both of whom memorised the Qur’an in their teens. After realizing many people are finding it difficult to maintain their revision due to life commitments, we decided to combine our knowledge of neuroscience, psychology and education to make revising that little more enjoyable, engaging and effective.

Our Vision

We believe we need to adapt teaching methods with the times we are living in to ensure that all students, children and adults, are well-equipped to be the next bearers of the Qur’an. We believe that Qur’an is a driving force for excellence in all areas, whether that be in academic studies, careers or home responsibilities. Hence, memorising the Qur’an should not be a barrier for anyone.
